It's not a bad shot straight from the camera but the Infra-Red filter better showed that I was in the shadow of one of those clouds at the time of exposure.

Yikes, Doug. I don't have an infrared filter, but the contrast adds some killer drama to the shot. Love those clouds. Seems like the southwest gets their share of beautiful skies.

I would think the shadow on the road would tell you that you were in the shadow of a cloud without resorting to infrared scanners or filtermajigs. Dramatic lighting and shadows in the scene Doug. A great looking landscape and perspective in the photo.
