In this case I lean toward the original image. The paint is almost gone, but the crops in the surrounding fields are alive and well on a sunny day in Minnesota.

I do have to choose this one over the first, we can see the stages of life that this neat old barn has gone though.

This is a tough choice, Doug they both are strong shots each having their own merits. I think I am leaning towards this one due to the layers of different ground colors , fading paint and the rust on the roof. Love old barns it's a winner with me.

I like them both, but this one shows off the different textures better, I like how straight the roof is even though the rest is falling apart. Nice shot.

I'm leaning toward the color version as well although I liked the B/W. Love those old colors in the roof, and what's the deal with the sporadic red paint on the side? They didn't have enough paint for the entire side so they splotched on some paint in random locations? The clouds and sky look better in color as well.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

The color has its merits but I really like the B&W version Doug. This clearly shows what's neglected but you can embroider a whole scenario around the B&W one.

You do realize you don't get paid until you complete the painting job. It looks like you used way too much thinner to get that one gallon to cover the entire barn.

I like this version better. Nice vibrant colours in the scene.
