Just a quick break from the 1950's. Most of this image is a reflection of the trees on the far side of this channel, with a little sky showing in the lower right corner. Just thought the bleached tree looked like some prehistoric monster. I thought about taking out that upper right corner tree trunk, but developed a lazy streak instead. :-)

Coming up on that in a heavy mist would give travelers the Heeby Jeebies!..thinking it was a monster lurking!

Well spotted

Nice shot of this "alien creature" Doug. Those barbs are there to keep the bigger dinos away. Perfect reflection too.

A man can see a lot when he is "day tripping," Doug.
Just kidding. Good eye to spot this and well shot.

It does look like some prehistoric creature's remains. I like the detailed mirror reflection. Interesting find & superbly captured, Doug.

A very good catch and you're spot on regarding what it looks like.

Doug...The shot would have been perfect if not for "that upper right corner tree trunk". Just kidding. There are only a few people on Caedes that seem to have the knack of seeing a shot where nobody else would have seen one. I could have walked by here day after day and not noticed a thing. I'm a sucker for reflections, and this one's a beauty. No complaints from me.

A good reflection in the image Doug. Now if you could clear up those chromatic aberrations around the edges if the log.
