You just can't imagine the subject material you might encounter when roaming the back alleys anywhere. But this was long ago, and I surely don't recommend it in this day and age, unless you have company.
I roam the back alleys in L.A. as often as possible, Doug. I just make sure that I'm wearing my blue KKK t-shirt when I'm in Cryps' territory and my red "Lynch all the %$* " t-shirt when I'm in the Bloods' territory. I rarely run into problems. By the way, I've been upgraded from serious to stable condition.
Skitzo is in rare form, Doug. The sad thing is if we take pictures of kids anymore, someone turns us in and calls us perverts. The "Age of Innocence" has long since passed. Wonderful in black and white. You probably developed this as well.
Great capture and I agree it is priceless. These days taking pictures of kids is a touchy situation. Need to get permission and then they probably would really look at you funny. I just rather not go through the hassle. You do so well with people pictures. Amazing!
