Love this, Doug. I was a tomboy as well . Couldn't ride my pony "POGO" while being Annie Oakley and not get dirt and dust all over me from the trail! Great vintage post ... love her nails .lol
Ahhh, to be able to sit like that again. Wonderful shot of you sister's "White Badge of Courage," Doug. Does she still like to get her hands dirty. I bet she does. You are the crop master for sure.
Ouch! ... but as always bandaids make children feel better & forget about the pain. I was a bit of a tomboy growing up too & still not afraid of getting a little dirty even if there are a few flesh scrapes involved. Excellent capture, Doug.
