This is a Aluminium Boat manufacturing plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. As you can see, the air filtration is nonexistent, and summer temperatures frequently exceeded 100 degrees fahrenheit.
Another great image Doug. One that serves as a reminder of how things use to be and still are in some parts of our world. I like the tones... the sparks and the smoke.
A wonderful capture from the 1950's, Doug. Thank goodness 'safety' is a top priority in the workplace now-a-days. I like the black & white contrasts. Excellent presentation.
Conditions for welders is no picnic. The guys at work get soot black and drenching wet with sweat by days end. You captured it well. I am glad to say they at least have fans in there but when temperatures soar it's just hot air and welding fumes.
