On the Southwest side of Death Valley (California), is the ghost town of Ballarat. There's little left there now, but this old wagon seemed to have found a place of it's own, and too proud to die.

Impressive editing here Doug. There was a contest "Seen Better Days". This would have been a winner there.

If the ol' wagon could only talk...the stories it could tell. Nice manip, Doug.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

I can almost hear Ronald Reagan's voice narrating in the background, Doug.
I like the textures you used. It was a great picture to start with and you added more. Well done.

i almost feel like less color would be appropriate for the title. but lovely wagon nonetheless and subject matter. right up my alley

how can one use letters, words or prose against its own institution? is it not to say that this accepted alphabet can portray intolerable thoughts against itself; the reflection of these words represent the meaning of ones mindless inquiry, generalizing became this text. . .read the marks behind a letter of assurance/ freedom is jailed within. . ." _ EaB

Judging by the green growth you must have been there during the rainy season. The texture layer seems to be too overpowering for the image. A good capture of the old wagon.
