This is White Sands, and Max and his shadow are that of a pure Black Lab. At least he was until we started climbing the dunes. The Dunes began turning black, and Max and his Shadow turned White. It was quite an experience, and neither of us suffered any sun burn.

I've had those out of body experiences, Doug. They can be quite disturbing. I wish I had taken a shot when I was having one.
Or perhaps I did.
Very cool.

This happens when nature goes haywire. It is caused by cosmic rays which strike the earth suddenly. It vanishes later. The only help against it is photoshop:) Good one Doug.

Max wasn't swimming in the cooling ponds down at the nuclear power plant before you shot this by any chance? Nice manipulation work, Doug.
