This is a huge rock among thousands in Joshua Tree National Park. It's not marked as such but there was an Indian tribe so named, further north in the Western United States. The park is located about seventy miles East of Los Angeles.

Flat Nose rock looks quite good with all the editing you have done on it Doug. I watched a documentary today on how the earth was formed into its present shape - flat nose must have been thrown high and dropped there a zillion years ago.
