Zulu and I stumbled on this dry creek bed at the base of Big Bear mountain, near Mentone, California. It was bone dry and rock filled with interesting stones. That's not Big Bear on the right. It's a couple miles further back and about two miles higher. As usual, just experimenting.

I like that you keep experimenting, what I like about this one is the stark look you got, and how the area around Zulu, is cleared. Interesting tone too, and I likey. We have a Mentone,Indiana that is not far from where I live. :) Tigs♥ =^..^=

I am enjoying your experimenting , Doug .
This might be my favorite.
I also really like the tones and the textures.
The placement and area around Zulu is very cool.
Nicely done .

Zulu looks to be the king of that rock Doug. The B/W enhances the bone dryness.

Zulu looks like a real hunter. Good B/W image with all the different colour tones of black and white.

Nice manipulation work, Doug. I like the high key like effect with the background image. A little more blending of the layers would help. The abrupt clear sky doesn't really mesh with the rest of the image.
