Thought this might be of interest to some of you. It's a watershed of the area surrounding Buck Lake, where I've lived for the last thirty six years. Just thought it would be a good example to indicate just how fortunate we Canadians are, as this image is just an area roughly 8 by 6 miles, and makes the following statement somewhat understandable. Canada has more Fresh Water than the entire balance of the world combined, and I've only been aware of it for a few years.

No wonder Doug. Lake Superior alone can provide enough water for half the world I guess. Nice image that looks like an abstract.

A great map of the watershed, Doug. Canada is very lucky indeed when You read about the water shortages in our American west.

Oh now this is really cool, I agree about the abstract feel of it. The west coast sure could use some of that. This is really different, and I really like it. tigs=^..^=

If there is that much water, I can only imagine the fishing! You live in such a beautiful corner of the world, Doug. I hope they eventually shorten the winters!!

As owner of Ohio, I hereby declare the winters to be shortened by two months, which includes all of Canada, if their owner agrees with this declaration. LOL. Very cool work, Doug.

We need all that water Doug so we can play hockey in the winter when the ponds and lakes freeze over.
