I think this is the Southernmost National Park in the State that has the greatest number of National Parks in the United States. What you see here is just a small portion of Monument Valley, and up the same highway You will find Canyon Lands, Arches and numerous protected parks that will blow your mind. And the best part is that there's practically no traffic. John Wayne starred in a number WESTERNS in Monument Valley and surrounding areas.

A classic western movie local for sure. This comp leads me right out to the big scene and its a nice view along the way with great color.

Awesome pic Doug!!! You're a long ways from home though:):) Nice perspective with the larger stones in the front although there's some slight blurring in the distant monuments!! Is it my old eyes??:):)
