Took a ride over to Sesuit Harbor, East Dennis, on the Bayside of Cape Cod, to get some pictures of boats (which I got), but I kept hearing the loud cries of some bird in the area... finally looked up and saw the osprey nest with one fledgling still in it. I waited, and sure enough, both parent birds came circling back, one with a fish in its talons... and I just kept the camera clicking. I left a lot of sky in this shot to express the freedom of the 'blue'; when these birds fly they own it.

Great capture Mary, we have these birds around here i love to watch them dive into the water after fish. they hardly ever miss. Have a great day. Dwight.

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
I like the clarity of the bird's eyes, with the slight motion blur of it's wings. nice job, Mary.
