How sweet this is. I'm very envious of this property and the views and ...well, just everything about it. It's a lovely job you did photographing it too :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
So familiar--those stay at home and play Parchesi, Old Maid and Monopoly days! The lamp in the window, the lazy ripples in the water and the powdering of mist over the entire scene make this very special.
Sorry that I haven't been commenting more. Just got lazy? But I did look at most of them. And again, thanks to all of you for your comments on mine.

i like the way the jetty leads the eye to the houses in the background.a gentle and subtle image.the moist air is almost palpble in this picture.simon.
In my mind: "Good morning, Mr. Smith, breakfast was wonderful! Your bed & breakfast is spectacular, sir." (Now I venture outside and see a suspicious figure speeding away on a boat... To follow..or not? I think I will...Up for another mystery at Misty Docks B&B!) Excuse my imagination- wonderful shot, great job! You have given me inspiration! :)
nice post!
