Grainy, smainy. Where I come from, we call it "texture." Seriously, this is lovely. No failing marks from me.

If you are interested in removing the slight grain there are a few free programs to aid you such as Neat Image. This grain is not too bad though:-)

I actually like the graininess, I mean, it isn't all smudged, by noise reduction software, you see in modern p&s hi ISO/long exposure shots,

Great shot !! I meant to get the eclipse myself - I was on the way to work and still forgot about it. This is a great shot - the moon is nice and round. Every time I take a moon shot I set the timer too long and it ends up egg shaped LOL.
