I think this was the largest bumble bee I've ever seen... it certainly was accommodating, it was on the flower so long I thought it had fallen asleep...
Excellent exposure on this one, and you're right..the bee must have been very cooperative, but he's busy tending his own business, and I wonder sometimes if they get slower as the season progresses and the days get colder.

What they said. I read somewhere that a bumble bee is not supposed to be able to fly because of its design. Huh? Thanks for sharing it Mary, glad I had my epipen handy. ;-)
My 'puter crashed the other day so I'm trying to get my new one up and running. ;-( This new OS (Vista) is going to take some getting used to. Sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to. ;-)
