"...pink doors closing one by one to sunset nightsongs along the west..." (Carl Sandburg) ...at bank street beach in harwichport, cape cod, massachusetts...
You made this beautiful sky come alive with the sand and the grass in foreground. The little tree and darker image on top almost looks like a grave with flag flying. Maybe tribute to Carl Sandburg. Could be. All the elements are in place.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Wonderful work, Mary. I once stayed near here and this shot brings back vivid memories - it captures the essential essence of the peninsula beautifully.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
