the shared sunset was radiant but the wind had a real bite to it, and I was sort of glad to get into my car and drink my hot coffee... even the seagulls were hunkering down in their seaweed beds... this is at skaket beach in orleans, cape cod, massachusetts...

So gorgeous, that sand dune is very picturesque and I love the foot prints on it. Very dramatic clouds too. Going into my faves.

I think I see your footprints scurrying back to warmth of vehicle. Love the sand and sky working together in this shot. The vegetation and partial fence add contrast. Good show Mary. Did you have a spot of something in the coffee? You did sound pretty fond of it.

It definitely has some romantic atmosphere, maybe due to the evening light which makes the scenery warmer. The composition you've chosen added some depth which makes for a sense of a dreamlike place.
