what doesn't 'close for the season' in rock harbor are the sunsets, and of course the Sunset Watchers who live yearround on cape cod still come out to watch... sometimes it isn't the actual sun setting that's so memorable as the quiet, muted hues mingling together in sky and water, from the azure melting into indigo sky to the pale apricot tinge on the clouds...

What a magnificient photo, presentation and narrative. You are truly a poet. This photo with reflection (possibly biggest reflection I've seen) is a smorgasboard of colors as you've already more eloquently stated. Love it Mary.

I thought I recognised this! I too have a shot on Caedes of this area. Your shot was taken with some very different lighting from mine; I love the stark simplicity you have captured here and the clear liquidity of the colours. Great work!

Ya know ... I wouldn't put it past your compositional chops that you indeed intended to have that one channel marker be placed just as is, just under the apex of that gorgeous curve of apricot tinged clouds.
