the silver spring trail at the audubon wildlife sanctuary circumvents this spring-fed pond... I saw large branches, limbs and several whole trees blown down by last week's nor'easter, always a probability on the outer cape when storms occur...

This site has taught me much about photography and this is great example. The reflections, which I paid little attention to before, are actually a photo unto themselves. Your refections in this photo are great. Good work Mary.

I used to be an idealist, but I got mugged by reality.
I love this image for the reason that the camera itself isn't showing us the sky, but through the water it shows us something new. It isn't a reflection of a visible object, but something beyond. Beautiful!
