sometimes when the sun sets over nantucket sound the colours become... well... a little 'outside' and exotic... I didn't touch the colour on this one, it was really this brilliant...
Lovely, Mary...just a great upload. No matter how hard we try, even our digital cameras will process things for us. And that yours was set to see what you saw is great. I'm enjoying every minute, my friend.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
You didn't need to touch the colors on this one, someone had done it for you. I love the reflection of the gull. It appears to be heading home from a long day's fishing. Not unlike the fishermen in the area. Old Gull and the Sea is what it says to me. Excellent, Mary and into the faves.
Great shot Mary. Beautiful colours.lovely sea shadows, the seagull perfectly outlined against the glare, and also its reflection in the sea. I like everything about this picture.
Wow!! The colours, the silhouette of the bird, the ripples on the sea, where do I start saying how good this is? All I can say is that this is simply fantastic.
