this one is for all of my friends... "pay no attention to the c-index score behind the curtain", I calls this a 'happy accident'... I flushed this female mallard in the old cranberry bog; she flew, I panned, and this image resulted...

Who cares about c-indexes anyway? They are voted by people like me , and what do I know? lol Great action shot. You were quick to click then weren't you?

It strikes me that the C-Index is inversely proportional to the creativity of a shot. So chocolate-box pictures get a high score? Ha!
This is a wonderful image you have given us here, Mary, a sort of "digital surrealism". I think it's great and it's going straight into my Faves.

I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!

This is fabulous Mary and I like you feelings about the Cow Index. I've decided to use my grandson's philosophy: "I like the way it looks." I like the way this looks too. Glad you shared it. Like your new avie as well. Happy Holidays to you.

Looks just like you got your brushes out and painted this one. I've always been a fan of abstracts, so this one really fits the "bill", so to speak :)

:o)

Mesmerizing, magical ... me likes a lot.

Composition is eerily spot on. No slight intended, just shoring up the tales of 'happy accidents'.

Of which ... there are none, I'll have you know. ;o)

Annnnd ... that is why I am here, right now. :o)

Thanks for sharing this special moment with us Mary ... as it is most assuredly 'one of those'.

I really like your abstracts like yellow bird and low tide. It's shots like these that remind people that a camera can be about emotion and expression as much as reality and can be used in the way brush and canvas, clay or glass can.
