out on sandy neck, a large , very large, sandbar jutting into cape cod bay off of barnstable... the wind was fearsome so I ducked into the shelter of a dune, and had time to catch the shadows before my eyes started to tear and the wind drove me back to my car...

Maybe if I type fast I'll beat PJ on this one. Love the dune and shadows. The fence is just awesome and the grasses add to the overall composition. The hint of sky just tops it off. Great photo, Mary.

I'll meet you at the edge of the sunlight, just behind the shadows. The Ghost

LOL@Tick...I didn't realize I was in a race :) I'm usually the last horse in the barn.

This is terrific, Mary. You've really outdone yourself and that's saying a mouthful. Composition, colors and angles..you've got it all covered here!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

A very nice capture. A bit on the blue side but overall a good capture.

A chair, an ice chest, and a good book, three things I would like to have with me if I could have been with you at this spot! Wonderful shot, Mary.

It's 'The Land Where Fences Go To Die'. A wonderful picture Mary. So unusual and so clever.

The shadows are wonderful. Your images always have a beautifully clean appearance, almost like you have swept up before taking the shot. Really gorgeous image, nice work.
