Like how the bright colors jump out of the snow. Once again fall and winter collide. I have a feeling winter will win out, but spring will do the old man in. Ahhhhhhhhhh Very good photo Mary.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

This is a lovely shot, Mary. Like Tick, I really like the way that most of the colours are muted but the reds shine out like little jewels. We rarely get weather like this on the west coast of Britain so it's good to see it in your pictures.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
I can't believe I saved this for my folder and didn't leave you a note! I think we don't see enough images taken IN the snow - this is fabulous Mary! ~Mary~
