I like the looks of the ornament that's in focus. Such an usual design. Colors of it are very vibrant. Looks like it's been stirred as opposed to blown. For the last time this year Mary, Merry Christmas.

Oh Mary these are really beautiful Friendship Balls, that's what we call them here in Canada. I have one and also have 3 big Witches Balls. Yours have beautiful colours

I admire the eye that saw the bauble, the mind that said "hey, I could share this on caedes" ... but Dame Fate conspired against you with the background ... the eye needs to look past the bauble and the mind needs to say .. "hmmmppff, what am I going to do about that?"
when you aren't sure if your DOF will render the background as a non-entity .. consider sticking something amorphous back there, like a pine bough wreath, sheets, wrapping paper .. a dead piggy .. wotevah you have handy
Whatever level of out-of-focus you achieve, combined with the amorphous'osity of your piggy-weath-paper-combo ... will, hopefully, achieve non-entity'ism
