Beautiful Mary. It was you cranberry posts that caught my attention and turned me on to your gallery in the beginning. I'm glad to see you have posted another. The colors are so beautiful and sharp. The berries with the grasses and water make for a great desktop. Bravo.
Of course this is a beautiful look at the cranberry harvest, but for the first time I noticed the white berries amongst the red. Now you've got me wondering...
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
A great fun shot, beautifully composed and with some wonderful colours. The image could be a little sharper - it looks like the camera had trouble working out quite where to put its focus - but it's nonetheless a fine shot.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
I had this in the voting booth Mary and found it to be great in regards to textures and color! Now that I know they are cranberries..well, I am fascinated! Do they 'toss' the cranberries in the water to rinse them or maybe I should just ask, "why are they in the water?" Excellent use of color and your skills. Thank you for broadening my horizons once again ;=)
You should be the official photographer for Ocean Spray. Very nice picture, and it makes me want a nice big glass of cranberry juice. I better go to the store.
