a footbridge that spans the tidal estuary in wellfleet, cape cod, massachusetts, leading from one of the main streets to a wildlife refuge and park... much photographed and painted, it's a must for anyone who visits wellfleet to walk across 'uncle tim's bridge' and explore what's on the other side...

Great picture, Mary. Excuse my ignorance but what's the bright blue thing in the foreground? Is it a canoe?

Very nice composition and clarity - I love the way the clouds appear to be flowing directly towards the viewer! Very nicely done!

It is a canoe Barry. It looks like someone took a couple 10gallon buckets, filled them with cement and stuck in some plastic piping to make some sort of Canoe stand. Least thats what I think I see.....Nice picture Mary it looks liek that might be a good spot for Stripers.

Life is the pits sometimes, but God and your friends are always there to help you through it.
The angle and foreground are perfect Mary. I like the varied shades of blue. The footbridge really jumps out of the surrounding colors. Excellent.

From the tiny house seen in the v of two tree branches to the whispery clouds pointed the pedestrian across the bridge, this image is perspective and composition perfected. And that azure water and royal blue canoe? Icing on the cake.
