it was as if the setting sun had shot a streamer of pure energy straight up through the cloud and beyond into space itself.... (taken in the herring river marsh, harwich, cape cod, massachusetts)
Mary, this is a stunner! What a hauntingly beautiful and enigmatic scene. I like the slight rippling of the water in the foreground that adds just that little extra something to the reflections. The vessels in the mid ground are at just the right point to key-in with the setting sun and the reflected clouds. And the textures of the reeds add some nice complementarity of their own. Faved, and I wish it very high marks in the VB.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Wow Mary! You arm must be better. Anyway your shutter snapping finger is working. Love the layering with the contrasting colors. Reflections are awesome. The sky's the limit for this one.
My dear friend Mary! Once again you have taken such a beautiful photo! As you know by know, I love seeing your part of the world.Especially since we live kind of on opposite sides of the USA! If I send you some Dungeness crab will you send me a lobster from over there? heehee...I bet they are both just as delicious as the other. This is such a perfect photo..you just can't beat a sunset over the water. The sun is at a perfect spot and the reflections sure make me feel all warm and fuzzy..lol...please send more..Verena
Do not wait; the time will never be "just right."Start where you are and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.
