Quite some emotion in this one with the silhouetted figure standing against the sunset sky and the bird flying to the left! excellent shot!

A statement observing the condition of the soul flying and of the mind drifting. Being in color for hope. Well done Mary.

I believe John said is much better than I could. It is a wonderful shot. Everything looks so peaceful and calm. Love the sky. Very good post Mary.

I think this person isn't the only one enjoying the view. I know I am.

If I may ... think of the images that you have graced us with this concept in mind, as I perceived it in some of your others ... this one stands out that little bit more.

The figure is more readily apparent in bringing home the 'message' of your photo.

Composition is very good. Might have been tempted to lower the postioning of the head, such that it intersects with the lower right thirds line's intersection point. In effect, cropping just a tad of the foreground.

Not so much that those lovely diagonals of the beach and silhouettes of the adjacent shores are lost within the composition though. To bring that point home.

I suspect that this one is about the 'watcher' ... however, the 'what' he is looking at weighs in as well. And that is of course, my personal, humble ... and incorrect opinion. :oP

A quietly contemplative and peaceful image.

Nicely done.

I had this image in VB last night and thought that it was going to be one of yours. I think it is a beautiful image that has gorgeous purple/red colours and a wistful, melancholy air.
