Very artistic shot! You're right, the sand really looks like gold! In fact, the water looks like the "Black Gold" i.e. oil! Nice shot!

It is a great photo Mary. You have such a good eye. Looking at your avie reminds me that my grandsons and I watched the movie "Happy Feet" over the weekend. Love the colors in this and the pattern. Will make a great desktop.

I'm always impressed by your close-up shots of sand, Mary. I've tried taking some myself but the always look like just what they are - close-ups of wet sand. You always seem to make yours look magical.

Life is the pits sometimes, but God and your friends are always there to help you through it.
I love the unique effect of sand ripples . I live near the water and attempt to incorporate the sand ripples in my angle of photographs as well. Good Job!
