while the sun was busy setting on one side of wychmere harbor, it was busy reflecting off of the window of a house on the other side, creating a reflection of a reflection...
Mary, I love this shot. The quiet blues, the gentle ripples in the water, the solitary house with lights on, everything adding to the tranquility of the picture. Fav'd.
HF you have such a fine eye to spot the little nuances in photos. I can't decide whether the lights are on or whether it's the sun. Irregardless, it makes for a stunning presentation. Just superb.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Blues, browns, and golds. It's hard to go wrong with that combination. You made good use of your foreground here to create depth of field, and I notice everything's in focus that needs to be. Good job, and I'd love to visit this spot one day. I get the feeling that during the day there might be a lot of pleasure boats passing this spot.
