I've been trying to get a shot of this view near the brewster mill for months, the sky would always wash out completely... and... yes, those people are turistas... they're back! the place was crawling with them, they were swinging on the trees and actually helping their children grab for, pick up, and play with the herring at the stony brook herring run, right in front of a sign that proclaimed, "DO NOT pick up, handle, or play with the herring."... sometimes the mind boggles...

You would have to be pickled to pick up a herring. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickle herrings. Something like that. I'm glad you finally took this photo HF because it is gorgeous. The reflections are just stunning. Have a good day.

The contrasting colors, the reflecting sky, the wonderful composition, all work together for one beautiful picture.

You really have an eye for this type of shot, Mary. The colours and reflections are simply excellent. The yellow bush on the left hand side highlights the blues and greens. Until you mentioned the tourists, I had not even noticed them. A terrific composition. Thanks for sharing.
