The angle and lighting work very well together in this photo. Good eye for noticing this.

I like the little spriggs of grass growing in it. More footprints in the sand! Excellent show girl!

Like this kind of pictures a lot Mary.

Good lighting and color and a good play with the shadow of the fence:)

This looks like a photo of a bridge taken from above HF. Has a Planet of the Apes feel to it. Great shot.

I like the Shadow the most in this shot. It just sorta "grabs" me. To me, the shot IS the Shadow. Wonderful Shot.

There is a lot of subtlety to this shot. The contrast between the wood and the sand, the fine waves in the sand at the top opposed by the footprints in the bottom, even the more defined footprints running alongside the fence. The shadow of the fence, the tufts of grass. The whole picture is just so good.

I find peace and solace in your picture. The footprints on both sides of the fence illustrate that the fence is merely a metaphor of a barrier and one that can be overcomed.

I loved all the comments you got, almost as much as I loved this photo, which I downloaded before I read anyone's words.

Does the build up of sand blow or drift away during the spring and summer? Love this image.
