the first time I went to see my friends and their new brood, she was too diffident to come over with her babies and guided them into the shelter of some overhanging branches about thirty feet away... this time she came right over with them and they all enjoyed a snack of breadcrumbs... even so, she hissed at me a few times when I stepped too close...

What a nice shot this is HF. They look so cool in the water. It looks like you should be able to pick them up and turn them over to see if you won a prize.

Maybe this is where the Hissyfit came from. The colors look really good. Nice post.

Wonderful capture Mary! Just beautiful! Your colors are always so great! Its scary when a swan hisses at you, isn't it? They can get pretty fierce. A fave in my faves!
