Wow this is some photo HF. The shadow from the pier in the water and sand is just too cool. That sky is so great. There are so many different colors and shapes in the sky. Throw in the ocean and you have one beautiful scene. Just great and I faved.

Wonderful picture. You can feel the strength and power of the approaching storm. I also like the bridge's reflection in the san.

Fabulous dark, threatening sky. Wonderful blocks of colour and great light and shadow. All with the threat of a storm to come.

I like this picture very, Mary. Good colours and clarity. I cannot decide if I like the shadow in the foreground, though.

Wowee! The shadow of the bridge lends an eerie note. Rather like something out of Rebecca. Alfred Hitchcock, move over!

Very nice work Mary. Very nice.

Solid leading lines, nice gentle arcs of water and shore combine well to lead us to the homes in the left hand side.

Bit curious, and this without the benefit of having been there ... any room to shift the framing/camera positon a tad? Such that the homes aren't as quite as tight to frame?

Looking at the largest resolution size available, great control on the element of exposure. Detail and clarity are very good.

Colours, shapes et al ... really nice work behind the lens.

Have a suggestion for an alternative title ... "Portent".

Operative and definitive in my mind, given the visual that you present to us here.

Well done. :o)

Oh Mary, how I love days like this at the Ocean. There is nothing like it. I would love to see your part of the world, and maybe you could come here. Wouldn't that be nice? I love this photo so much. I am just kind of strolling thru your gallery tonight. Just for a bit. Thank you for all your photos and for giving us a part of your world. Verena
