these vacation cottages are on cape cod bay in north truro... in summer, people crowd into these tiny places, which all have names of flowers... dahlia, violet and so on... presumably so that you can find your way back to the one you actually rented... provincetown is just down the road and there's plenty of fun in the sun for everyone... ;-))

Interesting perspective. Sand looks a little odd and there is some noise on the picture but not on the houses which form a very dramatic line into the distance. The cloud formation is good, almost as if the two nearer ones are over the houses.

The sand sure has a different effect. Do they rent the cottages by the summer, month, week, day or hour? Probably a little of each. The sky makes such a great backdrop.

Hello Mary....Great perspective in this image...The warmer colours on the cottages against the cooler blues of the sky really compliment each other....I live in Cornwall UK and we have a place called Truro which is only about 5 miles from where I live....All the best.....Mick.

Love the lines in this image Mary. The line of huts, the parallel lines in the sand and at an angle the lines made by the clouds and the setting sun. You used beautiful subdued colours apart from that patch of light in the top left.

The segregation/division (sky) and use/placement of the reflected light on the fronts of the cottages ... is ... a-mazing.

Going to make the assumption that you employed a filter (polarizer?).
Originally, in reviewing the above comments was going to ask if you had made any in-camera adjustments; re: colour saturation. Then, recalled your new 'toy'.
Some noise is present in the sky. Texture of the wood of the cottages is not as affected. It would not be too too hard to clean up just the sky section alone.

Great shot! I love the color and composition. This image has nice depth. Not the cleanest beach but a nice place for a Summer adventure.
