I can see the fingernails clawing in the sand as the creature makes its way inland. I always liked sitting in the balcony. Sometimes I even watched the movie. :) Great work in B/W HF.

All life forms for miles around have made their journey to this small mound, on the dunes. Unknown to earth's creatures, it is inhabited by beings from another sun. In their world, they are known as the Cowindexes. And, they communicate with a show of hands, tallied up by a wizard, and thusly displayed on lines of information.
