this snow lump was created by a small tree stump that got buried in a snowfall in january... it was late afternoon and only the tip of the small mound was illuminated by the sun... the rest fell into a deep blue shadow...

I like the colour and lighting in this cool image Mary. I thought it was a shot of the moon from space till i viewed it fullscreen. Then i realized it was a giant snowball headed towards earth. Nice work
