three birds against one little herring, not exactly fair, but then whoever said life is fair...? the herring are running again and so are the seagulls... it's a feast for them but the competition is fierce and there's a lot of posturing, biting, and stealing in the seagull ranks...

Great shot!! Yep, that's just what they all do, and it doesn't matter if it is dead or alive! This makes me a bit homesick, but we do have gulls around here also, just not so many. I guess they go wherever there is food.

Wonderful! Excellent light, details and perspective. I especially enjoy that the gulls all have opposing profiles and different poses. Adds more to the imagery than if they were all the same.
