OK Mary, how do you do it, catching your birds spreading and stretching their wings. Fabulous colours and detail in this very plump morning dove. Your lucky to be at the right place at the right time.

He's sure keeping his eye on you, looks like he's almost performing just for you to take the picture.

Looks like he only has one wing on one foot HF. Great clear capture and the the colors blend so well. Very nice post.
He is probably looking for a statue so you better get to moving.

wow, that's a Giiinormous bird. nice and clear, but what I like most of all is how the tail reflects the green from the grass - I assume - below. You ended up with a very colorful birdie.
