the provincelands sand dunes at the tip of cape cod (massachusetts) in provincetown... it's a pretty heavy slog up loose and soft sand, but once you get high enough the view is gorgeous... my husband, Bob, came with me one day, and he described it as 'a completely different world'...

Wonderful capture Mary. When I'm in our sand dunes, I don't enjoy only the scene, but the salty smell of the air as well.
Suppose it's in the Cape Cod sand dunes the same.
Thanks for this very fine post.
Regards, Cornelius.

Isn't it wonderful to 'discover' there are 'other worlds' right here on Earth?! You took a beautiful photo as always. I can just feel the peace, and it looks like it was crisp and cold. The sunlight stroking those hills is just awesome. I'm so glad you both went there, to share a special time. Verena
