Hey Mary
Those are some dark ominous clouds out there! Love the way the sun shines through that wooden fence and against the snow. Sure is a Beautiful image.

Mary - Again, you have captured the essence of the Cape, here in the winter, with the juxtaposition of snow and dune grasses. The late day sunlight, combined with the undulating dunes and fence, creates wonderful shadows and highlights. Enjoy the rest of the walk on the beach! Thad
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to OZ and the Emerald City. A very nice place to live. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
The lighting definitely steals the show in this one HF. Composition is great as well. Contrasts make it even more appealing. Snow is not my idea of a "day at the beach." :)
Excellent post.
Excellent use of low light, Mary. Love the tones and contrasts. The placement of the fence.. I'm on the fence about it.. maybe a wider angle, or a pan to the left?
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Mary, this is so special. I love the view of the storm as it is leaving the area and the sunlight of the approaching new day is taking command of the area.
