every once in a while, as the sun is busy setting, I remember to look in the opposite direction, and sometimes there's a whole new show happening to the east...
Light and water have concocted a beautiful sight HF. The sand looks like worms settling in for the night.
I guess sometimes it doesn't hurt to turn your back on sunsets.
Hi Mary
I do often look to the east when there is a setting sun. Things happen and you seldom notice. Stunning shot! Love that reflection on the tide pool!

Mary - You capture the Bay so beautifully - this photo is no exception. This look to the north up the beach has wonderful reflections, tide ripples in the sand, the quiet beach with several others walking, houses on the dune bluff, and lovely clouds side lit by the setting sun, each an integral part of this excellent photo. The only thing I would consider is to clone out the cloud patch at the very top-left corner of the photo. Thad
What a beautiful and stunning capture. It's great how you can see for miles down the shore line at the houses, the ripples of the water on the beach. But my favorite part is the reflection of the pink cloud in the water. Fantastic!!
Magical! Love the pinks, the reflection of the clouds, the sunlight on the bluff. One thing to consider is cutting down the rightward slant of horizon. Nonetheless, wonderful!
This is the kind of shot I just dream about getting. Excellent photography, Mary. The rocks and the patterns in the sand are great. Love that sky, too.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to OZ and the Emerald City. A very nice place to live. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
