Which two? (I take it this is the jewels tutorial and not the metals tutorial... ) I've been trying to follow both the jewels and metals tutorials although not, as I've noted elsewhere, entirely successfully.
I think the tops of your jewels look best. It could be my eyes, but the bottoms seem a bit flatter than I might expect. Or is this part of the intended effect? The multi-jewel reminds me of a bejeweled magnifying glass - the sort somebody royal might have used a few hundred years ago. The background might be a bit modern for that interpretation, though...

Serious this time on that last bit ... I would have preferred that you 'close' the jewels at the bottom to define the reflective surface more.
