Quite post-apocalyptic - in the nicest possible way, though! I see an interesting restraint here that lets the audience create their own meanings.

The thumbnail appears a little chaotic, it looks much better full view. Though I personally would've liked your memories a little closer spaced to each other, I admit you're walking a fine line between mass confusion & cool. So you'd have to be careful, if you DID move your "memories" a little closer.

On the whole, I really like where you're going with this. I love the grunge & the grayscale rocks. Your title completely fits the image & I'm hoping you explore this style a bit more, see where it takes you. Nicely nicely done Dave. ;o)

This new direction you are taking feels like you are really pushing new boundaries. It is grungy, different, lots to look at and it makes a great desktop. A great piece of graphic work, well done.

I think you sucessfully captured the subterranean feel and atmosphere of an actual underground subway system.

Foreboding ... and yes, somewhat chaotic. After all, it is another world 'down there.'

In thumbnail size, I did take notice of a kind of vortex swirl to the placement of your images. Just curious if it was intentional.

And I would agree with you ... this image is powerful. Highly interpretative to the viewer and highly evocative. Nice work once again.
