AN interesting use of textures, though I feel a bit too busy. The fractals are great, but would work better without the border. Keep up the new direction, you are creating some magic!!
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I really like the fractal, but I think that the background may be a little too busy- it seems to be taking away from the fractal itself. (unless thats what you were going for) Still though, it's a very interesting image :)
actually quite effective for icons, but still too busy, as others have said. I like the idea of segmenting though, perhaps more like this with more areas for the eyes to "rest".
that's different! The strangest thing is the illusion of bending and wavy frame (I know it's not bending: I checked it, with a ruler), very nice. i like it.
Different technique from any I've ever seen, and actually the idea is very "out of the box" so I'd have to say I'd like to see some more with this general technical scheme..good thinking :)PJ
Jerry;
yes, this is my blanky, i took a macro of the spot where i threw up on it.
To all you others;
Thank you very much for the nice comments, doesn't matter if it's a bit negative, as long as it's constructive :)
