I should mention that in full-size view, the bottom stuff ... gets chopped, which is unfortunate ... as the composition's balance is thrown off.

In particular, the addition of the concentric-like rings surrounding the 'Warrior' in relation to the placement of type. Step it down a rez size and you'll see the difference. And it does make a difference.


I really like the final results of your rework Dave. You've managed to bring the Warrior forwards and separate him from the background. A big well done on that aspect.

Colouration changes add much more mood to the piece. Clarity is still very good, despite the fact you were working with a jpegged file.

Will definitely save it for a desktop so I can use it to impress my grandson when he comes over.

I only had the caedes compressed .jpg to work with (which is rather evident in some parts if you look close enough) so it was pretty tough making it look less compressed :)

The only bit of self-criticism i have is that i uploaded the wrong one :P
The one i meant to upload had richer colours on the right :D
