Taken on a 22-mile backpacking trip on Mount Adams in the evening. I hated not showering or using flush toilets for four days, but in five years all I'll remember are the pictures like this--so that's a good thing :)

Amazing photo. Perfectly wonderful colors and lighting and I would forego amenities as well to see this magnificance. Excellent post and thanks for sharing it. I would be wondering where it is as well.

This is indeed beautiful, but I sure would like to know where it is. Beautiful colors. it appears that either a sunset or sunrise is in progress. Nicely done.

Go with the flow Justine, back to nature, i know what you mean, but just bading in a small lake or river, can do the trick to. in the end it is all worth it, and specialy when you return home and find all your comforts back.
