While a nice looking pumpkin, the background of your picture detracts from your focal point. The pumpkin almost blends into the countertop and the wall (not enough contrast), but then reds of the clock and clip are too bright and steal the attention. Keep going. When taking a picture look not only at the subject, but also at the background.

I agree with Pistos, I think if you wanted to retake this shoot use a black background, but make sure to give the pumpkin the right lighting. It make your pumpkin much more interesting, then in this shot.
