This is beautiful. The sunlight on the water and plant growth up front while there is darkness behind the subject is terrific. As for the subject itself ... Wow! ... what a beautiful capture of this awesome bird. The detail of the head and the wing feathers partially spread to dry ... so clear. My hats off to you.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
A master piece. That reflection in the water showing it's underside is incredible. The detail on the bird itself is a marvel for the eye to view. The leaves and lilies that happen to be in the forefron are a wonderful visua; backup to display the bird. And then, there is the very appropriate dark background. Wonderfully constructed and thought out presentation.
